As seen in the local paper!
Something very funny went on at Dawlish & Teignmouth Photograph Club last week!
Each year the club works towards a theme, culminating in a photographic competition, and for this season the theme was Something Funny. The competition was open for interpretation, encouraging photographers to observe the quirky side of life.
Participating photographers most definitely found humour in what they saw, celebrating the odd, unusual and anything that made them laugh. Laughter was a great tonic as the photographs appeared on screen to be judged.
The overall winner as judged by chairman Marc was a most unusual photograph called Eco Travel by Andrew Thompson, followed by three runners up and three third places, although all entries were worthy of a chuckle.
The club meets once a week, with occasional zoom presentations held in the hall, giving members a choice of where to watch, enables international members to participate and allows the club to bring in speakers from around the world. More information can be found on the how to join the club page.
