This week Dawlish & Teignmouth Photographic Club held their fourth open print competition, giving members the opportunity to showcase their skills, not only in taking the photograph, but also the editing, printing and mounting of favourite images.
The standard was high, the competition fierce but friendly as colour and black and white prints vied for the top spots.
Many subjects were covered , from trains for the steam buffs, to stunning landscapes, seascapes, urban architecture, portraits and natural history.
Visiting judge, Pedro Landers gave a far and detailed appraisal of each print.

Gold - Rob Landberger with Spittal Beach
Black and white
Highly commended - Nigel West
Bronze - Ken Holland
Silver - Ken Holland
Gold - Tony Wilson , Gwyneth and her Steinway
